Jillian’s November Post: 10-Week Challenge
I’ve just had the privilege of visiting Maui, where I saw a teacher I’ve long-admired, Wayne Dyer. The author of books such as The Power of Intention, Inspiration: Your Ultimate Calling and Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life, service is central to Dyer’s message. In fact, on Maui he described it as one of the four cardinal virtues – along with reverence for life, honesty and gentleness/kindness. Earlier that week I’d embarked on a 10-Week Service Challenge: seeking ways to serve everyday. Whether volunteering, as Obama has urged, or offering a kind word to a family member or a stranger, I wanted to commit this time to give, as I believe as Anthony Robbins says, "The secret to living is giving."
I'd love to hear your ideas or stories how you or someone you know serves: in big or small ways. As always, you can email me at footstepsadventures.com.
Happy month of Thanksgiving
